Set in the small town of Hazelhurst, Mississippi, this Pulitzer-prize winning play centers on the Magrath sisters who converge at the house of their grandfather after the youngest, Babe, has shot her husband after years of abuse.  With their troubles being grave and yet somehow hilarious, these complex and loveable sisters struggle to escape their past; and, ultimately, must bond together in order to seize the future.
