CSUDH to Host Inaugural Pacific Coast Track and Field Invitational

Carson, CA -- The CSUDH Athletics Department, in partnering with UNLV, is proud to present the inaugural “Pacific Coast Invitational,” scheduled for Friday, April 13, 2007, at the Home Depot Center on the campus of Cal State Dominguez Hills.

The Invitational, which takes place the same weekend as both the prestigious Mt. SAC Invite and the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational at UCLA’s Drake Stadium, will feature a full array of track and field events, with the first events scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.

The Pacific Coast Invitational is open to unattached, club, college and open competitors, enabling entrants to compete with the nation’s best just over a month prior to the 44th Annual Men’s and Women’s Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, taking place from May 24-26, 2007, at the Irwin Belk Complex in Charlotte, North Carolina.

ADMISSION/ENTRY PRICES

• Fees: Spectators: $5.00
• Team Registration: $200.00 (Men’s & Women’s teams are separate)
• Individuals $5.00 per event
• Late Entry Fee: $50.00 (If entry not received by April 2, 2007)
• Entry Deadline: Must be postmarked by March 28, 2007

• Payment: Colleges & Universities may pay on day of meet. Clubs and individuals send payment with entry.
