The Office of Academic Programs (OAP), housed in the Division of Academic Affairs, is responsible for the procedural oversight of curriculum, catalog production, academic program review, analysis and implementation of legislative and systematic requirements regarding academic program planning, curricular and programmatic changes as set forth by federal law, the state of California, and the CSU Office of the Chancellor. Academic Programs oversees special Chancellor’s Office programs, special CSU Dominguez Hills’ academic support programs, including but not limited to: CSU Honors Program, the Center for Service Learning, Internships, and Civic Engagements, and General Education. The Dean of Undergraduate Studies, who reports directly to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, serves as the lead administrator for the Office of Academic Programs.

The CSU Academic Master Plan (AMP) is a comprehensive list of campus academic plans that guide program, faculty and facility development. These plans list existing degree programs, projected (planned) programs and program-review schedules for authorized degree programs. Updated campus plans are submitted each March for review by the Board of Trustees, and approved plans appear on this site.
