Sofia Pop made the move to Spanish Media at KVEA-TV Telemundo 52. Her daily duties include working with reporters and news photographers to research stories and to dispatch them to breaking news stories throughout the Southern California area. She has been a television news broadcast journalist for over a decade and has worked as a field producer and news assignment editor at KCBS/KCAL-TV, Hawthorne Community Television as an On-Air Reporter, and as KNBC-4 News Assignment Editor.

Pop is a proud member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. Her professional accomplishments include winning a Golden Mic, an Emmy, and being honored by the Humane Society of the United States and by the West Basin Municipal Water District for raising water conservation awareness.
