Dr. Winfred Roberson, Jr. is the principal at Mariposa Elementary School in Ontario, California. Prior to serving in his current capacity, Roberson made history as Glendale Unified School District’s first African American superintendent, having previously served in the same position at the Davis Joint Unified School District in Davis, California.

Roberson originally completed his bachelor’s degree in rhetoric at UC Berkeley, then went on to receive a teaching credential from CSUDH. He then went on to attain a master’s degree in educational administration from National University, before completing his educational journey with an educational doctoate from the University of California, Davis.
