Victor Rodriguez is a triple-boarded surgeon in general, vascular, and cardiothoracic surgery. Rodriguez received a vascular fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, which is considered one of the most prestigious vascular fellowships in the country. After completing his fellowship, Rodriguez accepted a position at the Kaiser Permanente Medical group in Sacramento.

Rodriguez returned to school and attended the cardiovascular program at the Texas Heart Institute/Baylor College of Medicine. He spent 3 years as a resident in cardiothoracic surgery. After graduating, he was hired at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, as a Clinical Associate Professor of Cardiac and Vascular Surgery.
