Todd Rogers is vice mayor and councilman for the City of Lakewood. He was first elected to the council in 2001 and is currently serving his fifth term.
Rogers spent over 32 years with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, serving four years in top leadership as assistant sheriff. He began his law enforcement career in 1985 as a deputy sheriff. Rogers’ command experience includes serving as the Captain of Carson Station for six years. He also served as an Area Commander within the Department’s Field Operations Region II Headquarters and Leadership and Training Division.
Rogers founded the nonprofit Lakewood Education Foundation that raises money to support local schools, teachers, and students.
