At Children’s Mercy Kansas City, Dr. Kathy Goggin is associate chair for research for the Department of Pediatrics, holds the Ernest L. Glasscock, MD, Chair in Pediatric Education and Research, is the deputy director of the Children’s Research Institute, and is director of the Division of Health Services and Outcomes Research. She is also professor in the Schools of Medicine and Pharmacy at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Goggin has garnered continuous funding for national and international research studies. Her research focuses on primary and secondary HIV prevention, medication adherence, and psychosocial predictors of health behavior changes to improve health outcomes and reducing health disparities.
