I Make Champions

As Director of Athletics for the UCLA Bruins since 2002, Dan Guerrero leads one of the most decorated athletic programs in NCAA history. But it was at CSUDH where he got his start, first as an assistant AD while teaching part-time in the public administration department. Within two years, he was named Toros AD and served in that position for five years. Prior to joining UCLA, he served as UCI’s AD for 10 years, helping to elevate that program to unprecedented success.

Guerrero has earned numerous honors, including 100 Most Influential Hispanics by Hispanic Business Magazine, and Sports Illustrated’s 101 Most Influential Minorities in Sports, UCLA Latino Alumnus of the Year in 2001, induction into the UCLA Baseball Hall of Fame in 1996, and CSUDH’s Alumnus of the Year in 2003.
