John Langley is best known as the creator and executive producer of the long-running, critically acclaimed television show “COPS”. His success has resulted in a well-deserved star on the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Langley is a true pioneer of the reality television phenomenon and is often credited with the innovative “video verite” signature style of the award-winning “COPS” program. With the success of “COPS”, Langley went on to produce a number of other non-fiction series for network and cable, as well as independent theatrical motion pictures. He has received numerous recognitions for “COPS”, including the American Television Award and four Emmy nominations.
