Branded Merchandise and Signage
Merchandise branded with the CSUDH identity helps to enhance the university’s visibility and increases support within and outside the school. Success depends on all those connected with the university promoting the consistent identity in order to build positive awareness.
Apparel and Promotional Items
Branded employee apparel promotes loyalty and communicates the wearer’s relationship with CSUDH. Here are some general guidelines for applying the university brand to merchandise:
- It is recommended that the logo be used alone on branded promotional materials such as T-shirts, hats, mugs, pens, etc.
- Additional information, such as department or program names, may also be imprinted. However, keep in mind that additional copy added to printable surface areas reduces lettering size and affects readability.
- Use of the CSUDH Athletics logos is restricted to NCAA athletics or school spirit purposes on branded merchandise. Contact Rick Hoskin, Athletic Communications Director for assistance and approval before using athletics marks on merchandise.
- The University and Athletics Logos may not be manipulated or changed in any way and should always be reproduced using official CSUDH artwork and colors.
When applying the University Logo or Seal to branded apparel or promotional items, please follow the design guidelines.
Templates
The university has developed a number of templates for promotional items, including:
