How to Notify Title IX

Notifying the Title IX Office

Most CSUDH employees have a duty to report sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, dating and domestic violence, and stalking incidents when they are on notice of them. When a survivor/victim tells the Title IX Officer or another employee about a sexual misconduct, dating/domestic violence, or stalking incident, the victim has the right to expect the university to take immediate and appropriate steps to investigate what happened and to resolve the matter promptly and equitably. Notify OEI About an Incident

TIP: It is important to be honest and direct with students regarding your reporting obligations to the Title IX officer. Consider referring to the CAPE advocate to further explain Title IX policies and procedures.
