Biography

Hakjoon Song is a Professor of Accounting at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Before joining CSUDH, Dr. Song taught financial accounting courses at the University of Akron. Dr. Song completed his PhD in Accounting at Temple University and received his MBA and B.A. in Business Administration at the University of Minnesota and Korea University. Dr. Song's primary research interests are in the areas of auditing, financial accounting, corporate social responsibility and cost management. His publications appear in such academic and practice journals as The Accounting Review, Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, Journal of Management Accounting Research, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Journal of Accounting, Auditing & Finance, Accounting Horizons, Journal of Business Research, Accounting and Public Interest, Current Issues in Auditing, and The CPA Journal. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio.
