Biography
Dr. Mahmoud Salari is an Assistant Professor of Economics at California State University, Dominguez Hills. He received his Ph.D. in Economics in 2016 from Texas Tech University. Before joining to CSUDH, he taught various courses at different schools including California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), Loyola Marymount University (LMU), Savannah State University (SSU), and Texas Tech University (TTU). His research connects theory with detailed macro and micro level data in order to test the theoretical foundation in political economy, applied economics, behavioral economics, international finance, energy and environmental policy, and big data analysis. His papers have been published in peer-reviewed academic journals such as Research in Economics, Economic Analysis and Policy, Energy Policy, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, and Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment.
