Delta Mu Delta is an international business honor society that recognizes and encourages academic excellence of students at qualifying colleges and universities to create a DMD community that fosters the well-being of its individual members and the business community through life-time membership.

The Greek letters in the Society’s name stand for

Dia Matheseos Dynamis,

signifying Delta Mu Delta’s motto:

Through Knowledge, Power

the power to manage creatively for social and economic good.

Becoming a member of Delta Mu Delta is an honor indicative of earnest, intelligent purpose and rewarding achievement. This should be a goal of every person pursuing a degree in business administration where Delta Mu Delta membership is possible.

Eligibility to join Delta Mu Delta

Undergraduate qualifications for eligibility to join Delta Mu Delta:

• Must have completed at least 6 upper-division business courses required for major
  (300 or 400 level: ACC, BUS, CIS, ECO, FIN, HRM, LAW, MGT, MKT, OMG, and SEH courses)
• Possess a minimum 3.50 GPA in the major
• Must have completed the lower division required core courses (or respective equivalent) for ACC 230, ACC 231, CIS 270, ECO 210, ECO 211, and LAW 240

Graduate qualifications for eligibility to join Delta Mu Delta:

• Must have completed at least 6 courses for the MBA program
• Possess minimum 3.60 GPA

Every spring semester, the CSUDH Epsilon Mu Chapter invites eligible students to join Delta Mu Delta. Students who accept DMD membership are invited to participate in the College of Business Administration and Public Policy's Honors Induction Ceremony. This evening reception inducts new members and welcomes their families to the campus to honor students' academic achievements. New Delta Mu Delta members can purchase official DMD graduation regalia, apply for scholarships, access member only benefits, and have access to the DMD member network.
