The training fee typically covers trainer pay and benefits, classroom space, materials, field trip transportation and guides, translation (if necessary), and coordination costs. California State University, Dominguez Hills can organize cultural excursions for training groups if desired. Cultural excursions can be tailored to the client’s wishes. Popular itineraries include: Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and the Santa Monica area; a tour of ethnic Los Angeles; the Getty Museum; Disneyland; Universal Studies; Long Beach; Pasadena, the Norton Simon Museum, and the Huntington Gardens; downtown Los Angeles; Huntington or Newport Beaches and Orange County; and the Gene Autry Museum of Western Culture. Cultural excursions do incur a cost in addition to the training fee to cover transportation and guide costs.

Housing options vary based on time of year and the budget of the training groups. For long-term arrangements, the University Housing would be the best option. For short-term programs, the best time for housing accommodation is during the summer months. 13. Can California State University, Dominguez Hills handle airport pickup?
For training groups, we can arrange private bus pickup or make Airport shuttle arrangements. For individuals, we recommend airport shuttles as the most cost-effective means of getting from the airport to the CSUDH campus. From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Airport shuttle costs approximately $25 for an individual and $100 for an exclusive van (holding up to 7 individuals). Taxi cab fare from LAX is approximately $50.

California State University, Dominguez Hills is one of 23 campuses of the California State University system. CSU is the largest institution of higher education in the United States, with more than 380,000 students. The CSU is dedicated to comprehensive undergraduate and master’s level education, with an emphasis on teaching rather than research. CSU Dominguez Hills enrolls over 12,000 students. Our campus is made up of the College of Business Administration and Public Policy, College of Education, College of Extended and International Education, College of Health and Human Services, College of Liberal Arts, and the College of Natural and Behavioral Sciences. The University is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges; individual Colleges and Schools are accredited by the governing bodies for their subject areas.
