The chemistry department has developed and maintains a comprehensive WWW based system for program support. It consists of well-developed modules directed at developing problem solving skills and is the most extensive such system in existence. It is used extensively by other chemistry teachers throughout the world. The chart below shows how these modules can be related to particular courses in the curriculum. The leftmost column contains the title/subject of the module and the column headings show the chemistry course numbers. A "k" in a cell denotes that the student is expected to know that module upon entering a course, a "g" means that the student will learn the material exemplified by the module during the course and a "kg" means that the student is expected to enter the course with fundamental understanding which will be broadened during the course. The actual modules can be found at: Homework modules and then clicking on the homework link. Beyond the homework modules, there is an even larger set of web pages which go beyond the content of the homework pages. These are found at Lecture Help. These modules are also used throughout the chemistry curriculum.
