Graduation Process

STEP 1: Academic Requirements Report

Your responsibility as a student is to know your degree requirements and track your degree progress. Review your Academic Requirements Report or degree audit via your MyCSUDH student portal. Confirm all requirements have been or will be completed by the end of the semester you wish to graduate. The Graduation Unit uses the Academic Requirements Report to evaluate your degree progress the semester before your graduation term. Discuss any discrepancies with your major advisor in your department.

STEP 2: Apply to Graduate

Apply to graduate via your Student Center in your MyCSUDH student portal. There are different application deadlines depending on the semester you wish to graduate. See the Application Filing Periods on the Registrar’s Page.
