Welcome to our Peer2Success Program!

The Peer2Success Interns are here to help you with all that you may need. Everything in the program is student to student to better support you in all aspects of your life. The main aspects highlighted are Academics, Personal, and Skill building. All these areas are specific to you and your needs as a college student. We understand how difficult it is to juggle your academics and personal life and how it may contradict sometimes causing a lot of stress. All you need to know is that you are not alone, we are here to help and support you to reach success in all aspects of your life. The Peer2Success interns are ready to be your guide, support, and overall encourage you to reach your goals.

Purpose of Program

This program is to connect peers on a student-to-student level. Students not only get the help from their Academic Advisors in our college but from peers as well. We as peers include additional support to help the students overall. Peers included in the Peer2Success program can support students on their personal pathways to success. We demonstrate skills and highlight S.T.A.R.S in our day to day interactions. We are Sociable, Thorough, Accessible, Reliable, Students who guide those within our college and those who come into our center seeking a sense of belonging.

Hello fellow students,

Thank you for visiting our website and interacting with the Peer2Success Program. This program is solely based for you and all your needs. As a fellow college student myself I understand how difficult it may be to carry so many roles and responsibilities all at once. All you need to know is that you are not alone and there is a place for you here at Dominguez Hills with students who are ready to assist you. Thank you for doing your best and proceeding in your academic goals. We all want you to succeed no matter how long, short, or difficult it may be. I know you can do it. Peer2Success Internship Application

Applicants must provide the following to be considered:

Resume.

Statement (free response) –in this statement the applicant must provide us with information about themselves as well as why they want to be in the Peer2Success Program. The statement must be 1-2 pages long, MLA format.

Please be ready to schedule an in-person interview. Applicants should closely monitor their email to promptly respond with their preferred interview date and time.
