Registration Dates and Times

Spring 2025

Dates: October 14, 2024, through January 20, 2025

Registration Hours:

Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 midnight via MyCSUDH Sunday - system not available

Fees: Payment Deadlines:

  1. November 22, 2024 (students who register October 14 – November 21, 2024)

Fees are due 48 hours after registration (students who register November 22, 2024 – February 7, 2025)

  1. Fees are due at time of registration (students who register February 8 – 13, 2025)

Late Registration

For: Continuing students and new students officially admitted to the University who did not participate in Registration Dates: January 21 – February 7, 2025.

Registration takes place via MyCSUDH with a Permission Number for the class from the department. Contact the Registrar’s Office at 310-243-3645 or Registrar@csudh.edu if you have any questions.

Fees: Starting the first day of classes, fees are due at the time of Late Registration. An additional $25.00 Late Registration fee will be assessed. Fees must be paid online at MyCSUDH or at the Cashier's Office - WH B270, if open.

Adds (beginning January 21, 2025)

For: Students who have already registered but who wish to add classes

Fees: Payment of difference between part-time and full-time fees are due 48 hours after add(s), if adding classes will result in a change to fee status. Final deadline: February 14, 2025

Drops (beginning January 21, 2025)

For: Students who have already registered but who wish to drop class(es).

Signatures: No signature is required to drop during the drop with refund period.

Fees: Refunds due to complete withdrawal from classes or to a drop from full-time to part-time status will be issued approximately 3 weeks after February 14, 2025; it is not necessary to submit a request for refund of fees.

Non-attendance in class, notifying the instructor, or stopping payment on a check does NOT officially constitute dropping or withdrawing from a course. Students must take the appropriate action via MyCSUDH or in person, as appropriate, to officially drop or withdraw. Drops and withdrawals require the appropriate forms with required signatures to be filed with the Office of Registrar (Registrar@csudh.edu) by the published deadline.
