Curriculum Quick Look

For either the BS degree and PB Certificate students, the following courses or their equivalent must be completed or transferred before the student begins clinical training. BS degree students must also complete all general studies requirements before the start of clinical training. California state licensure for medical technology requires that 3 units in Physics, including light and electricity, be completed prior to issuing the clinical trainee license. Phlebotomy experience (CLS 302) is required by many of the affiliated labs. Each Medical Technology student is required to consult with an advisor regarding these electives.
