Responsibilities

In his capacity as Acting Associate Dean, Dr. Jones is the liaison between the Dean's Office and the faculty on all matters related to curriculum. He has authority for approving course scheduling, sits as an official member of the College Curriculum Committee, oversees the program review process, and is responsible for the SBS (Social & Behavioral Sciences) and SMT (Science, Math and Technology) programs. Dr. Jones ensures NBS’s participation in faculty governance by coordinating the elections for membership and representation on College and University-wide committees. Dr. Jones coordinates and manages facilities in support of NBS administrators, faculty and staff.
