Dr. Adriean Mancillas announced as new Interim Associate Dean for the College of Education

Carson, CA (July 16, 2024) – The university announced Dr. Adriean Mancillas as its new Interim Associate Dean of the College of Education effective until July 2025. 
 
Mancillas entered her role Monday, July 15 after serving as the Graduate Program Director for the School & College Counseling program for several years.
 
"I am honored to have the opportunity to step into this new role as Interim Associate Dean,” says Mancillas. “I am especially excited to get to work with our college's staff and faculty in different ways." 
 
Mancillas has over 20 years of experience teaching, supporting students, faculty, and staff with curriculum, accreditation, and program development. As an Associate Dean, she will be tasked with ensuring the college builds on its degree programs and community engagement, while also addressing any emerging issues the field of education faces. 
 
“I think so highly of my colleagues and the students in the College of Education. I'm looking forward to supporting their hard work through this year.” 
 
Jessica Pandya, Dean of the College of Education, says she is grateful and lucky to Adriean for taking on this new responsibility and stepping into this role. 
 
“Her expertise in graduate studies and credentialing will be a great asset and will have an impact in the coming year.”
