Excellence in Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity

The Excellence in Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity Award was established in 2004 to acknowledge research, scholarship, and creative activity are essential components to the CSUDH mission. This award recognizes these professional activities provide intellectual stimulation and motivation for student learning, are an impetus for students to emulate the work of their professors and bring recognition and prestige to the institution.

The Presidential Outstanding Professor Award is a honor that recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding achievements in all areas of faculty performance i.e., as a teacher, as a member of their profession, and as a member of the campus and community.

Affordable Learning $olutions (AL$) Initiative Recipients

Initiative recipients were recognized for their contributions in providing their students with more affordable, quality educational content. By reducing student course material expenses, more students acquire the course materials they need to succeed and benefit from their learning experience. As a result, faculty and students have greater access to quality free and low-cost learning materials through a variety of AL$ programs and partnerships.

Exceptional Levels of Service to Students Award

Designates the awarding of assigned time (in the form of weighted teaching units, WTUs) to all Unit 3 faculty employees who are engaged in exceptional levels of service that support CSUDH priorities, but who are not otherwise receiving an adjustment in workload to reflect their effort.
