Graduation Requirements

Step 1: Apply for Graduation

Each prospective graduate must apply for graduation. The graduation application is available online via MyCSUDH Student Center portal.

The graduation fee is due 48 hours after submission and payment can be submitted online, by mail or dropped off at the Cashier’s Office dropbox (no cash accepted, must include student ID on the check).

Step 2: Register for Commencement

In order to participate in the spring Commencement exercises, you must register your intent by completing the online Commencement Participation form by April 15.

• Step 1: Log in to MyCSUDH.
• Step 2: Click on "Student Center."
• Step 3: Click on "Commencement Participation" under "Important Student Links" (far right)
• Step 4: Check the box "I plan to participate in the Commencement ceremony," then click "Submit."
• After completing these steps, you will receive an email confirmation.
