Who can apply?
This course is open to anyone who:
- Has at least one year experience in the field of education (i.e. classroom teacher, counselor, administrator, coach, paraeducator, professor, etc)
- Understands that systems of oppression exist and must be dismantled
- Is interested in developing embodied wellness strategies for themselves and their educational spaces
- Is interested in developing social/healing justice leadership skills in the field of education
- Is committed to attending all 6 class meetings and completing course assignments
How to apply
The deadline for applying to CrEW Fall 2023 is Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Space is limited so please plan on applying early. Participants will be admitted based on meeting the criteria above and completing all application components by the deadline.
Course Fee
Tuition for CrEW Fall 2023 is $555 and is based on 3 University Units. Participants will be notified of admission into CrEW by June 2023 and will be required to register and pay tuition fees via the College of Continuing and Professional Education by July 15, 2023.
Participants are encouraged to seek financial support from their districts or institutions to help pay for tuition. The CSUDH College of Education is currently working to secure possible scholarships and will have information about that shortly. Any participants who are interested in scholarships are encouraged to apply and mention that information in their application.
