Mission

The CSUDH Dance Program offers each student the opportunity to develop creative and technical skills to become leaders in field of dance as choreographers, dancers, and teachers in studios, private and public schools. The Dance program is multi-cultural and multi-ethnic by nature and offers a wide range of dance styles and techniques to explore. Students are encouraged to create, produce, and assess their work in relation to the broad knowledge of dance history and its traditions.
