Constance Anderson is an experienced community economic development and banking executive, who has worked successfully in the Southern California market for most of her career. Prior to becoming the President of The Center by Lendistry, Ms. Anderson worked at Pacific Coast Regional (PCR) Director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). She has a passion to help small businesses thrive to become the best they can be. In our current environment this is critical more than ever to help sustainability in the workforce.
Constance is a graduate of the UCLA Anderson School of Management and has a successful career in banking at several regional banking institutions. She has served on the Foothill Workforce Investment Board (WIB), board member of California Association for Micro Enterprise Opportunity "CAMEO", Urban Financial Services Coalition, Neighborhood Housing Services of Los Angeles, and past board member of YWCA Greater Los Angeles. In addition, she is a member of the Mayor’s Office Minority Business Development, the National Association of Female Executives, and the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO-LA).
In her current position as President of The Center by Lendistry she is committed to working to make The Center the premier supporter of small businesses through technical assistance and lending. She stresses the importance of working individually with each business the seeks The Center’s aid to find out what they need, from software, to accounting, to program solutions, to an experienced sounding board. Whatever resources small businesses (especially in underserved communities) need, she is their answer.
