Diversity and Inclusion

We center culture: Constructing, providing, and holding spaces of belonging and becoming. Understanding the need for inclusive and brave spaces for all to thrive. We COMMIT to being activist leaders who use language that embodies the following values: Dignity, Hope, Love, and Joy.

Criticality

Critical inquiry, reflection, and dialog: This lens of criticality seeks out the stories of all peoples, unearths truths, and orients towards justice. We COMMIT to being a critical practitioner scholars who empower voices and perspectives silenced by historical injustices through inquiry, reflection, and dialog.

Systems Interrogation

Audits with an action plans: Awareness of the multiple layers of operationalized oppressions and the will to act. We COMMIT to be transformative and adaptive leaders who collectively stand against the institutionalized discrimination, racism, and oppression by dismantling injustices that promote inequalities.

Praxis

Reflective Hacking, Designing, and Sustaining Actions: We believe an internalization of a cycle of daily reflection and empowered action that resists systemic and everyday oppressions. We COMMIT to reflective praxis that disrupts inequitable systems and creates alternatives that cultivate equitable change.
