How to Access Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

The RSS SDS replaced MSDSOnline as the primary source for managing and accessing all Safety Data Sheets at CSUDH. Please note that you must be able to use the single sign-on DUO authentication to access this system.

 Accessing Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

1. Log in to the RSS SDS page directly at https://app.riskandsafety.com/sds

2. The page displays a list of all available SDS. To find an SDS for a specific chemical, enter the chemical's name, product number, or vendor in the search field

3. Select the desired SDS from the list

    4. You can either select the download icon to save the SDS file to your computer or select the  print icon to print a physical copy of the SDS

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in Your Inventory

You can also access the SDS page while reviewing the chemicals in your online Chemical Inventory

1. Log in to https://app.riskandsafety.com/

2. Select Apps in the top menu and choose Chemicals

3. From the Chemicals homepage, select Search Chemicals

    4. Enter the chemical in the search field

    5. Select the chemical from the results

    6. Scroll down to the "Related SDS: section and "Attachments"

         a. There may be SDS sheets that are already present in "Attachments"

         b. If there are no attachments, select Safety Data Sheets and additional resources    under "related SDS" to be directed to the SDS page

         c. Any vendor-specific SDS on file will be shown further below under the "Substances: list
