Educational Talent Search (ETS) is one of eight Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) designed to identify and provide services to individuals from underserved backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in higher education.
In 2016, CSUDH was awarded an ETS 5 year grant to serve students attending Jordan High School, Fremont High School, Bethune Middle School, and Markham Middle School in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). In 2021, CSUDH was awarded a renewal for its LAUSD grant now serving Jordan, Fremont and Jefferson High Schools, and a Talent Search grant to serve Inglewood & Morningside High Schools in Inglewood Unified School District (IUSD).
ETS aims to inspire, motivate, and empower program participants with knowledge and skills necessary to create and navigate their own educational pathways to success. ETS provides academic, career, and financial aid advising and guidance.
