Breakthrough Scholarship
The Breakthrough Scholarship provides support to students who are enrolled in a degree program at CSUDH. Preference will be given to students who participate in the Breakthrough San Juan Capistrano Program. If there are no viable candidates from the Breakthrough San Juan Capistrano Program, preference will then be given to any first-generation college students who demonstrate financial need and are from underrepresented populations.

Catalina Island Scholarship
The Catalina Island Student Endowed Scholarship is designated for students who are a current Catalina Island resident or have attended high school on Catalina Island.

Crankstart Scholarship for Community College Transfer Students
The Crankstart Scholarship for Community College Transfer Students is designated for students who have transferred from a California Community College within the last four years.

CSU Future Scholars
The CSU Future Scholars program provides renewable scholarships for up to 30 entering first-year or transfer students. The scholarship is designated for students from an economically, educationally and/or environmentally disadvantaged background.

Edison STEM Scholarship
The Edison STEM Scholarship is designated for undergraduate junior or senior students who are majoring in one of the STEM disciplines.

Honors Scholarship
The Honors Scholarship is awarded to incoming first-year students or transfer students who meet specific academic requirements. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years for first-year students and two years for transfer students.
Amount: $2,500 - $3,000 |
James and Jocelyn Lyons Scholarship
The James and Jocelyn Lyons Scholarship is awarded to entering first-time freshman students who meet certain academic requirements and demonstrate enthusiasm for university education.

Katherine Bogdanovich Loker Scholarship
The Katherine Bogdanovich Loker Scholarship is awarded to an incoming first-year student from Carson, Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Torrance, or Wilmington. Katherine Bogdanovich Loker helped fund the expansion of the Student Union and established the Loker Scholarship fund to help students reach their educational goals.

The Lucia and Leopoldo Garcia Scholarship is awarded to an incoming CSUDH first-year student from an area high school.

Osher Scholarship Program for CA Community College Transfer Students
The Osher Scholarship Program for CA Community College Transfer Students is awarded to students who transfer from a California Community College.
Amount: $2,500 for full time students (pro-rated for part time attendance) |
Presidential Scholarship
The Presidential Scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship program offered at CSUDH. The scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence, community and campus involvement, and strong leadership qualities. The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to first-year students for four years, and to transfer students for two years.

The Vic and Curly Scholarship is designated for a student entering CSUDH as a first-time freshman with demonstrated financial need.
