Your student account is an online service that allows CSUDH applicants to check the status of their admissions application. It is known as the MyCSUDH portal. To access your admissions status, you must first set up your student account using your Student ID number, which can be found in your application acknowledgment email.
Go to Find MyCSUDH and enter the required information to obtain your username.

Admissions Status are typically released on a designated date for each term./
For Spring 2025, admission decisions will begin to be emailed starting on August 19, 2024. After this date, you can check your Campus Account at My.CSUDH.edu for the most current status of your application. Please note that the application status will not be available in your student portal before August 19, 2024.
For Fall 2025, admission decisions will start being emailed on January 21, 2025. Until that date, the decision will not be accessible in your student portal. Starting from January 21, you can check your Campus Account at My.CSUDH.edu for the latest status of your application. Keeping track of these dates will help you stay informed and prepared.
Once an admission decision is made, the Office of Admissions & Recruitment will email you, and the decision will also be available on your MyCSUDH portal.
CSUDH applicants are encouraged to check the current status of their admission application on MyCSUDH.
Official transcripts are required to render an admissions decision, so you must check your MyCSUDH portal’s To-Do list. This will help you determine the documents/official transcripts needed to complete your application. This proactive step will ensure your application is reviewed and an admission decision is made promptly.
Note: If you recently applied and are still waiting to receive an email from our campus, please note that it takes four days to process the admissions application and to receive an acknowledgment email.
Please note that you will be expected to attend New Student Orientation based on the major indicated in your admission email. The New Student Orientation is a comprehensive program designed to help you transition to university life. It includes academic advising, class registration, and information about campus resources and services.
If additional information is needed to complete your application and make an admissions decision, it will be added to your To Do List on MyCSUDH.
Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions (including those reported on the application) must be submitted to the Office of Admissions and Recruitment for a complete review of your application.

The initial document deadline for First-Time, First-Year (Freshmen) applicants is October 15, 2024.
The initial document deadline for Transfer applicants is October 15, 2024.
The initial document deadline for the Organizational Leadership Studies, Quality Assurance, and RN-BSN programs is November 29, 2024.

Admission decisions are based on the evaluation of the information reported on your Cal State Apply admission application, and/or received academic records. If you want to appeal the admission decision, please visit csudh.edu/admissionappeals for information about the appeals process.
