Criss Kelley Moreno is a lecturer of Health Science at California State University, Dominguez Hills since 2003. Her work focuses specifically on health care theory and practice and its impact on the U.S. health care delivery system. She is a graduate of the University of La Verne, where she earned a Masters in Gerontology (MSG), a Masters in Health Administration (MHA), and a Masters in Education (MEd). She is a professional educator and a computer consultant. She teaches at all levels of learning, from Kindergarten to the Graduate level. She has worked at various levels within emergency medicine and the clinical laboratory arena, as well as having experience in for-profit and non-profit settings. Prior to establishing her consulting practice, Lecturer Moreno worked in the Health Services Management Department at the University of La Verne serving as an Adjunct Faculty member and as Departmental Researcher. She also served as the University of La Verne’s Coordinator of Instructional Technology. She has published her first textbook, Healthcare Systems and Perspectives (Great River Learning, 2018).
