In order to maintain his status as board certified in healthcare management as a Life Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Board Certified Coach (specializing in executive / corporate / business / leadership), and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Dr. Whittemore maintained currency by meeting the extensive continuing education requirements for each of these credentials.  His one-year appointment as a SAMHSA Doctoral Fellow also provided currency in the areas of Latino family therapy, LGBTQI-affirmative psychotherapy, and substance use.
