Internship Requirement

Health Sciences Internship

During the final year of the program, students will begin meeting with the Internship & Professional Development Coordinator to plan their internship experience. All School of Public Health and Health Sciences students are required to intern in their final semester of study. Students will apply classroom knowledge to a hands-on experience in a local healthcare agency. In order to ensure a smooth internship placement process, students are required to attend an Internship Orientation the semester of placement. During the Internship Orientation, students learn about requirements, what is expected, and what documents are needed. We encourage all the students to plan ahead and stay organized to ensure a smooth internship experience!
