The Bachelor of Science in School of Public Health and Health Sciences, Health Care Management Option is designed for those who wish to acquire and enhance their knowledge and skills to function as effective front line or middle level supervisors in health care.

School of Health’s Bachelor of Science Healthcare Management option program is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of health care personnel in the following key areas:

• Attainment of an understanding of the organizational structure of the health care system, including financing of health care services.
• Examination of health policy at the local, state and federal levels and its implication on the delivery of care.
• Examination of theories for effective health care delivery and management.
