What are the admission criteria for the Radiologic Technology option?

Admission into the Radiologic Technology option is limited to individuals who are currently licensed or certified in one of the RIS disciplines such as radiography and have been fully admitted to the University. This is NOT a competitive admission process.

How hard is it to be admitted into the Radiologic Technology option of the degree?

Admission into the Radiologic Technology option is not competitive. What that means is that anyone who meets the admissions requirements can be admitted into the option of the degree.

When are the courses offered?

Each semester between three and six units of coursework specifically designed for students in the Radiologic Technology option are offered. These courses are all taught online and typically have a set time and date in the evenings. Additionally, Health Sciences courses that are also part of this degree are offered on a regular basis (see about). Most Health Sciences classes are offered online at least once a year.

If I am currently certified/licensed in one of the RIS disciplines. Can I be admitted to the program?

Yes. Being licensed or certified is one of the admission requirements for this degree option.

How long does it take to complete the Radiologic Technology option?

How long it takes to complete the Radiologic Technology option is determined by how many units a student enrolls in each semester. Typically, a full-time student can complete the degree in three semesters. Students taking a part-time load will take longer to complete as will students who are missing lower-division General Education courses.
