Congratulations to the Super Seven!
Seven of our own (from left: Danny Deth, Terry Sak, Carol Vasquez, Morgan Kirk, Rosie Coleman, Tiffany Herbert, and JoAnn Aragon Valdivia) ran the Long Beach Half Marathon on October 6, 2024. The Sunday event consists of a Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and a Bike Tour. It features a challenging course that is fast and flat, starting at sea level in Downtown Long Beach.
Demolition began September 6, 2024 to make way for the new Health Wellness and Recreation Center. The center is about 70,000 square feet and will house a “mini-clinic” for greater access to medical, counseling, and supportive services.
