The History Club is a student-run organization that promotes the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, writing, and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians. As a community of students and alumni with shared interests, we provide chances to meet fellow historians and those interested in history. These include game nights, informal “Chat with a Professor” events, study groups and support, and professionalization opportunities. The Club extends to a wider network of recent CSUDH alumni involved in a host of professional fields. We welcome members from outside the major and at any point in their undergraduate career—all that’s needed is an interest in history. We especially encourage transfer students to join.
