	Academic Guidance The academic appointments varied in topics from time-management to connecting students to their academic advisors, tutors, or other appropriate academic resources on campus. Staff provide support and guidance for students to achieve their short-term and long-term academic goals.
	Financial Guidance Appointments include helping students apply for the CA DREAM Act and exploring different financial aid resources. We can also share information about scholarships, emergency grants, fellowships, private loans, and paid internships. We can also answer questions on how to open a bank account!
	Wellness Support Taking a holistic approach, students receive information about the Student Health and Psychological Services, information about health insurance for them and their families, and are referred to community resources and services.
	Professional and Career Advice Our staff can meet with students to discuss professional development opportunities for those who do not have a social security number. We can explore alternative ways to earn an income without a work authorization permit.
	Graduate School Preparation We can address the nuts and bolts of applying to graduate programs as an undocumented person. We can discuss what kind of funding is available to you and whether or not you should disclose your immigration status on your personal statements.

Amenities

	Kitchenette   We have a microwave and a refrigerator! We got you with all the plates, bowls, cups, and utensils you might need.
	Community Lounge We are now introducing our community lounge area, opened for all students. Come chill with us, listen to your favorite songs and do your homework in a comfortable space.
	Free Hygiene Products Free toiletry items, hygiene products and more at the IJC, including pads, shaving sticks, mask, soap.
	Free Testing Materials  You got an exam? We got you! We offer free scantrons and blue books.
