Rony Eduardo Castellanos Raymundo

Rony is the Interim Program Director for the CSUDH Latinx Cultural Resource Center (LCRC). He is a first-generation professional of color born and raised in Guatemala. He is formerly Undocumented and identifies as Queer. Rony is very excited to connect with CSUDH first-gen students to support their educational and aspirational goals.
Rony transferred to UC Santa Barbara from West Los Angeles to complete his B.A. in Sociology and LGBTQ Studies. His passion for higher education and social justice guided him to earn a Masters of Education Degree (M.Ed.) in Student Affairs at UCLA. In his free time, Rony enjoys walking, dancing, and car karaoke. Connect with Rony at rcastellanos@csudh.edu.
Koatzin Kamil

Koatzin Kamil (she/her) is an unDACAmented, two-spirit, transgender woman from Mexico and dreams of a world where education and mental health services is accessible to everyone. Koatzin transferred from Riverside City College to CSUDH to complete her B.A. in Africana Studies and discovered her passion for service. Koatzin continued her advocacy by leading workshops and presentations that addressed inequities faced by transgender women. She is committed to addressing anti-Blackness and anti-Indigeneity in Latinx communities. She desires to continue her education and would love to earn a master's degree in Chicanx Studies. As a CSUDH alumna, Koatzin strives to support fellow Toros along their academic journey.
