Events for Academic Year 2024-2025

Throughout the year, MSA hosts a variety of programs and services designed to equip our undergraduate men with the tools necessary for post-secondary success and beyond. These include workshops, peer-led study halls, leadership development retreats, civic engagement opportunities and one on one mentorship. The objective is to create an effective, achievement-based environment that supports and empowers young men of color to succeed and persist in higher education. Collectively these efforts service to cultivate a college graduating culture within the Male Success Alliance.

Academic Year 2024-2025 Theme

In 2024-2025, our programming and events will focus on GROWTH and growing academically and professionally in a purposeful manner.

GROWTH

G - Goals: intention and focus on who you want to become

R - Reflection: Emphasizing using your learning and experiences as feedback and a rudder to navigate

O - Opportunities: Encouragement to seize them and recognized them as not more work but as a path to take you to where you want to go

W - Wisdom: Application of insights gained from experience, cultivating discernment

T - Thriving: Not just surviving but thriving in success and achievement of goals set

H - Honor: Honoring yourself, those that have helped you get this far, and for those to come after you through the paths you pave. Recognizing and giving reverence to a movement that is bigger than any one person.
