We offer one degree, Masters of Science in Environmental Science. Our location affords a unique opportunity for students to focus on the Urban Environment in one of the largest cities in the US, population of over 12 million. Our program was founded with the goal of bringing different departments together to create a strong multidisciplinary approach to studying the environment.
Currently we have students from a variety of backgrounds (Earth Science, Environmental Science, Biology, Psychology, Sociology, etc.) working with professors in multiple departments (Anthropology, Biology, Earth Science and Geography). Their areas of study are as diverse as their background. Our program allows students to opportunity between electives, internships, and directed research to delineate their own focus in the field of environmental science.
