The application deadline for the Fall semester is March 1st. We do not accept new students in Spring semester.
Application Procedures
Prospective students need to reach out directly to the program coordinator and/or perspective advisor describing interests, goals and expectations in pursuing the master’s degree in environmental science. Prospective students will send their letter of intent to program chair and should explicitly indicate how you have met or planning to meet the academic requirements of the program. Transcripts should only be submitted to the university.

To be considered for admission, prospective students must submit an online application through Cal State Apply
This ONE application will be used to consider students who apply to the MS in Environmental Science in:
A) Internship track OR B) Thesis track options.

Applications are not considered complete without the test scores.
These test scores should be sent along with all official transcripts to the Admissions and Records department.
Please note that scores are considered valid for only two years, and that if several scores are submitted, only the most recent is considered.
Files that remain incomplete by the time the admissions committee begins reviewing applications will not be reviewed.
