A sought-after music director and voice technician/coach, Thomas Craig Buckley has built a diverse career spanning both operatic and musical theatre genres. Known for his adaptability on and off stage, Buckley has performed across the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska, as well as in Europe. As a countertenor, he has taken on roles in works by Handel and Mozart, in addition to giving solo recitals and performing with various orchestras. His musical directing credits include work with major cruise lines and renowned regional theatres across the country. In 2022, he conducted the world premiere of Ian Dicke's opera Roman at the Synchromy Festival, utilizing both live and AI-generated musicians and actors. 

In addition to his work at CSUDH, Buckley’s educational credits include work with high schools and colleges in both Connecticut and California. He has worked at the esteemed training center Stagedoor Manor, where he had the privilege of musically directing the world premiere of Heathers: The Musical: School Edition in collaboration with Samuel French Licensing. Buckley holds degrees from Westminster Choir College and Northwest University.
