The course emphasizes potential health hazards and other hazards present on the site; use of personal protective equipment; common work practices to minimize risks from hazards; common engineering controls; medical surveillance requirements including recognition of symptoms and signs which might indicate overexposure to hazards; and site safety and health plans.
This training is for general site workers (such as equipment operators, general laborers, and supervisory personnel) engaged in hazardous substance removal or other activities which expose or potentially expose workers to hazardous substances and health hazards.
Upon the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
