Upon course completion students will poses the knowledge and confidence to develop a workplace violence prevention program. Students will also have the knowledge and ability to teach Stop the Bleed techniques to their employees or coworkers. This course covers an overview of Workplace Violence, Federal and Cal/OSHA workplace violence standards, Stop the Bleed campaign and best practices to prepare organizations for life threatening events. Course topics include workplace violence regulations, current and historical analysis of Active Shooter and Workplace Violence, Stop the Bleed principles and techniques, and an overview of the evolution of workplace violence.
Individuals responsible for overseeing safety in industries or sites such as: construction, healthcare, government, cities and municipalities, school districts and many other worksites.
