Dr. Bryant is a full-time lecturer in occupational therapy at California State University, Dominguez Hills. She is also the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the OTD program. She has been an occupational therapist for over 16 years and entered the field working at Momentum Pediatric Therapy Network (formerly Pediatric Therapy Network). Dr. Bryant has practiced in pediatric settings that include school-based occupational therapy, private non-profit ASI and sensory processing specialty clinics, and social skills programs. She has a passion for group programs and program development and developed an after-school social skills group program. Prior to coming to CSUDH, she worked in a leadership capacity and was the director of a Social Skills department. Dr. Bryant has also held positions from staff OT to OT supervisor in these occupational therapy programs.
Dr. Bryant's scholarship of application is highlighted through her involvement with teaching the Adolescent Assessment class as well as guest lecturing for Occupational Therapy Interventions I and II. This role also includes mentorship and advisement to CSUDH students. Her primary role as OTD Academic Fieldwork Coordinator is to establish, develop and grow the OTD Fieldwork curriculum.
