Dr. Faith Moy has been an occupational therapist for over 35 years. She practiced in many pediatric settings including NICU, pediatric acute, pediatric rehabilitation, pediatric outpatient, early intervention programs, school-based occupational therapy, and private non-profit ASI specialty clinic. She worked with teams to develop two early intervention programs at different sites. Dr. Moy has held positions from staff OT to OT supervisor in these occupational therapy programs.
Dr. Moy has been very involved in the scholarship of application developing and overseeing three community-based faculty led fieldwork programs with: at-risk adolescents, adults with disabilities, and children in need of OT. Two of these are in collaboration with the City of Carson Community Center. Regarding her scholarship of integration, Dr. Moy has been instrumental in developing a collaborative fieldwork program with Santa Ana College's OTA program. This program highlights the intraprofessional working relationship between OTs and OTAs at a Clubhouse International site. This project earned Dr. Moy and her team the Occupational Therapy Association of California (OTAC) "Vision Award" in 2021. In addition, as part of her scholarship of teaching, Dr. Moy is also a lecturer in the CSUDH MSOT program adolescent conditions and is a member of the CSUDH MSOT Fieldwork Faculty.
